Time Lapse Creator. Time Lapse Creator is an easy way to take still images (ex: jpg) and turn them into a video. Select the input folder with a timespan to display each picture and click save! In addition to creating videos from photos, you can also merge videos together and even capture images or videos directly from the app. Nikon Time Lapse Software Self-Timer mode enables you to take up to nine pictures with one press of the shutter button, timing the frames at intervals of a half second to 3 seconds. If you want to record more frames or enjoy more flexibility over the interval between images, bail out of Self-Timer mode and instead enable Interval Timer Shooting.
In this week’s video, I discuss time lapse video, those fast-moving videos that convert hours and days of activity into minutes and seconds of video. I explain two ways of creating such videos, one easy and free, the other more complicated and time consuming (guess which method I’ve been using).

During the video, I demonstrate how to create a time lapse movie using Gawker (the free and easy solution). I also demonstrate how to do the same thing using Evocam ($30) and QuickTime Pro ($30). I also include a short snippet of an older video I created, set to some entertaining music that fans of Benny Hill will instantly recognize.
